Happy Valentine’s Day - Share the Love

SilverlightValentine Yes, it’s that time of the year again. Valentine’s Day. Just in case you forgot to buy a present or do something something special for your sweetheart, why not send an email valentine. Thanks to the Silverlight team you can build your own Valentine’s card. All you have to do is select a photo from Flickr or your Windows Live Space, pick your favorite romantic music, and write a little note to your special someone. They will get an email giving them the URL to their own private Valentine’s Day card.

Lori Grosland

My name is Lori Grosland and I am an American living and working in Germany. I came to Germany about 8 years ago to do an internship. I liked Germany so much that after the internship was over, I just stayed. Since then I have lived in Hamburg and now Munich.

What am I up to career-wise these days? Well, I am currently working for Microsoft Germany as an Enthusiast Evangelist. It is my job to travel around Germany and sometimes Europe to talk about and show via a live demo or a video the cool things that Microsoft does or is working on. I get to meet a lot of great people and talk about one of my passions - technology.

This blog is my personal blog. On it you will find several things… links to my video blog postings from my work blog, my updates from Twitter and other items that I find interesting. Many of those things will have to do with technology or Microsoft and others will be about life in Germany or in general.
