Sleepy Sunday Afternoon

The last couple of weeks have been a bit crazy.  Well, most weeks with my job are a bit crazy, but the last couple weeks have had an additonal touch of craziness.  I was in Barcelona last week doing videos and interview for TechEd Developers – a Microsoft Developer conference with 4000 delegates.  Somehow I managed to get bronchitis that and have been trying to do my job and get healthy at the same time.  Not a lot of fun.  I have more or less stayed home for the last four days.  Actually the S-bahn was striking here Thurs-Sat and I don’t have a car.  The S-bahn is the only way that I can make it into work without calling one of my co-workers and asking for a ride.  I didn’t really feel like trying to make my way into work and with my horrible cough, I figured that was a good enough excuse to stay at home and work.  And believe it or not I did work.  I probably wasn’t very productive but I didn’t managed to get my video from BarCamp Berlin online and an on10 blog post about my video host job in Barcelona at TechEd Developers.  The videos are in English if anyone wants to check them out….

Tomorrow I will be a Popfly workshop for Microsoft employees and in the evening I fly to Prague for a 3 day Evangelism training.  Next weekend I’m off to Mannheim for BarCamp Rhein-Neckar.  This time I will be going with my boss and a few other co-workers.  Should be fun as long as the trains don’t strike.  Not sure how many people will actually make it to the BarCamp if they aren’t able to get there with the trains.
