This is it…the day that I start blogging!

My brother gave me a blog for my birthday way back in April and I was thrilled with the idea of blogging for friends, family and anyone else who was interested.  Unfortunately life got in the way.  Back in March I started a new job at Microsoft as an Enthusiast Evangelist.  I moved to Munich, had to find a new apartment, move out of my old apartment in Hamburg and basically just get settled.  Fine, I thought.  When things have settled after the move and I have somewhat decorated my apartment, then I will start blogging.  But of course, then things took off at work.  I started doing a lot of traveling and working a lot of extra hours to prepare for conferences or shoot videos for my blog.  Ok, ok, so what I have finally realized…I will probably never find the time I need to do everything that needs to get down.  That is why I have just started typing a blog entry.  It is not the most insightful or poetic blog entry, but at least it is a blog entry.  And hopefully tomorrow I will write another and the next day another…and at some point I can actually call this a blog.  It is about 6 months later than expected, but I have finally started a personal blog!!!
